NFL Week Six Takeaways.

Bengals vs. Seahawks

Don't Look Now, But You Can't Look Away, But The Bengals Have Made Their Way To .500, And The Reports Of Their Demise, Though Warranted, Look Exaggerated. The Bengals Didn't Win Pretty; Joe Burrow Look Basic, 4.8 A Pass, 168 Passing Yards O 24/35 No Less. The Bengals' Defense Kept A Seahawks Offense, Which Moved The Chains This Game But Didn't Move The Needle. From The Jump, I Anticipate More Offense, And Geno Smith Put Forth 323. Seattle outgained The Bengals By 150 Plus, But The Team Struggled In The Red Zone Just 1/5, Lost The Turnover Battle, Which Always Spell Doom For The offending Team, And Struggled with Penalties. The Bengals Haven't Cured Their Struggles, but the Defense cruised Geno With Four Sacks, An Interception, And Batted Several Passes. Will Winning "Ugly" Come Into Focus As The Bengals' Way Of Life as we advance, And With Every Team in THe AFC North Practicing And playing in The Same "DNA," Who'll Come Out Top With The Ugly?

Eagles Vs. Jets

I Always Saw The Jets As A trap Game For the Eagles. The Jets Have Some Momentum Coming Through Week 6, And They've Looked Improved. Good Teams Like The Eagles Have The Propensity To Drop Games like These Against A Rugged defense And A rushing Attack; They are Always team With Stout Rushing Attack That Trample The Eagles Underfoot. The Eagles Out Played The Jets In Every Major Statistical Province. The Eagles Outgained The Jets In Total Offensive Yardage, Converted More Third Down, Suffered Fewer Penalties And Produced More Red Zone Success(2/3)But 4 Turnovers Stole The Opportunity Away From The Last Unbeaten Team On Sunday. "It Happens. It's An Opportunity To Learn From This and Grow." Hurts said After The Game In Which He Only THREW three Touchdowns. Hurts Touched Up The Jets for 280, But When You Turn The Ball Over, You Can't Expect To Win. "Give a Ton Of Credit To Them." Hurts Followed Up. Of Course, Some Of The Turnovers Had A Flukey Element To Them. A Completed Pass To Dallas Goedert Bounces Off Of The Tight End's Knee And Into The Hands Of Quinnen Williams; Hurts Also Lead The Team In Rushing and Scored The Teams's First touchdown On A Short Dart Through Colliding Bodies for A touchdown. AJ Brown Continued to Look Virtually Uncoverable. If He Missed A Target, The Ball and The Passer Took The Blame. Brown Finished 7 Catches, 131 Receiving Yards On 9 Targets. Between Brown And Tyreek, I Can't Say Whose Harder To Cover.

The Eagles Pass Catchers Did Suffer A Few Drops By Devonta Smith. According To Next Stats, Jalen Hurts Faced Pressure On 21/50 Dropbacks, And That Pressure Forced An Errant Throw That Pushed The Teetering Balance Of The Game Out Of The Eagles Favor.

The Eagles Defense Didn't Force A Turnover Of Zach Wilson's Jets, and Wilson Always Open His Hands To Share The Possession With The Opposition; He's Friendly. Breece Hall Had Some Nice Runs And Generated 93 yards Of Total Offense. His Late Touchdown Put The Jets Ahead, Even If He Should've Sit On The Foot Of The End Zone.

Garrett Wilson Caught 8 Passes For 90 Yards. Zach Wilson Looked Like The Greatest Version Of The Game Manager The Team Wants Of Him, with 19/33, 186 Passing Yards, and A 73.5. The Philly Mountain Movers, The Galactus's Up Front, The One They Call A Defensive Line, Put Zach Wilson In The Dirt For 5 Sacks And faced pressure On Nearly All Of His 40 Plus Dropbacks. The Percentage Points On The Jets Record Got The 'Positive' Mark Or Up Tick, But The Eagles Lost This Game. Even Jesus Lost To Win Again Later. The Eagles Will Look In The Mirror Before Facing One Of The Toughest Remaining Schedules In Football.

Giants Vs. Bills

After A Day Of Massive Upsets, I Don't Think Anyone Felt Prepared For Giants vs. Bills And The Battle Of Two New York Identities. With No Daniel Jones, A Offensive Line That Works More Like A Revolving Door Than A safe, and coach Brian Daboll Pitching Away Most Of The Qualities That Made him Coach Of The Year In his first Season As A Head Coach, The Giants Found Themselves Up 6-0 At Half Time Against The Best 3-2 Team In The League With Josh Allen Denying Himself(For The Most Part) Moments Of Self Destruction. Allen Did Throw A Pick. The Giants Left Points On The Board Thanks To Daboll's Miss Handling Of The Clock. With The Giants Driving The Endzone and Guaranteed At Least A Field Goal, Brian Daboll Waste At Least One Timeout In The Final Minute Of The Half. The Giants Then Lean on His Aggressiveness And Rush Saquon, Who Fails To Pick Up Any Yards And, The Clock Runs From 12 seconds to Zero. Tyrod Taylor, The Giants' backup quarterback Stepping In For Jones, Should've Had The Awareness and rushed the Team To The Line, But He Failed. The Giants Leave Three Points On The Board. With A Team Like The Bills, Execution Matters Most Because You Can't Depend On "luck" Or Chance To Hold Their Talent In Check All Game—a Fact Daboll Should Have Complete Awareness of Facing His Former Team.

In The Third Quarter, A Drive That Nearly ate up The Entire Bills Used 17 Plays, Saw Josh Allen Escape Sumptuous Pressure and The Bills' O Line Look Like A Diving Board With Loads Of Bodies Flopped All Over Them. As Allen Scrambled On A Play Midway Through The Drive, You Could See His Intense Desire To Control His Impulses, Fight Back, and Resist The Urge To Hoist The Ball For Grabs Down Field As Defenders bore down On Him From All Sides. Allen Kept His Composure. In One Drive, A Listless Bills Offense Took The Lead Like A Tamed Beast. Hearing The Call of The Wild, Allen Can't Resist His Way For Too Long. The Giants Retook The Lead With a Chip Field Goal. The Bills Responded With Another Touchdown Drive. With The Bills Driving, The Giants's Pass Rush Forced Him Out Of Pocket Once More, Throws A Little Across His Body, and Strikes His Tight End In The Chest For The Bills' Second Touchdown Of The Game. Allen Blurs The Gray Area Of What "Not To Do" (Throwing Across His Body)As A Quarterback Out Of The Pocket. The Bills Escape With This win, Or At least The Giants Failed To Secure The Game. Daniel Jones Could've Won This Game Or Lost The Game For The Game Compared To Tyrod Taylor, Who Only could Lose The Game For The Giants. So Many Of Tyrod's decisions felt Baffling, Especially Late, As He Targeted Two Giant Receivers For More Than 30+ Air Yards and four Down Territory With About Two Minutes To Go In The Game. He Should've Gotten A Chunk Play And Moved To The Next Down. Tyrod Decides To Check Down after The fact. The Bills Defense Didn't Play Great—The Bills Let The Giants Drive Into The Red Zone Three Times — Maybe He Expected Them To Sit at The Chains, but Some Receivers Found Space. The Blame Again Falls On Coach Daboll For A Lousy Play Script. Saquon Started The Half Running The Ball Well, But Eventually, You Have To Lean In On The Pass Because As The Bills Showed They Can Eat A Field Goal Lead With Ease. The Giants Could've Had At Least Three Touchdowns With Better Execution. Instead, They Settled Field Goals And Missed Opportunities But STILL had A Chance To Win. The Bills Missed Two Field Goals That Could've Made The Win Look More Convincing, But The Bills Played Poorly On All Phases And Needed A BAd Team To Play To the Lines Of Bad Team To Escape With A Win.

Broncos Vs. Chiefs

If Sean Payton Planned to Introduce More Chaos And Tabloids To Cure The Control, Awkward Downward Spiral Of Last Year's Broncos(Like A Double Negative), Then He's Succeeded. Unfortunately, So Far, That's All He's Succeeded At As A Coach This Year. He's Trying To Pull Off A Difficult Job Using Old Tools To Satisfy Present Expectations And Present Judgements. Paytons Not Working With A Squad Of Pro Bowlers Like In New Orleans, The Broncos Roster Features An Old "Holographic" Figure Of Russell Wilson's Past Self And Group Of Outcast Misfitted Pieces Left Over From Two Regimes Ago; Not Too Mention Underwhelming Contracts and Injuries To Said Roster, with The Trade Deadline. The Broncos Might Aim To Tear This Roster Down, Something They've Lack The Gumption To Do In The Past, But A New Roster Doesn't Make Sean Payton The Right Guy To Lead The Team. Payton's An Austere, Almost Authoritative Figure And The Football Of The "Tik-Tok" Era Doesn't Mesh Well.

I Never Thought Russ deserved all Of The Criticism He Faced For The Team's Failure Last Season, But When a Team Gives You A Bag, You Put A Bull's Eye On Your Back For The rest and Scrutiny Of onlookers. Russ Has 1200 Plus And 11 Touchdowns And Certainly Reclaim Some Respect. Denver Has A Clear Metaphor for a Donkey To Pin The Tail On The Defense this season. NFL Statistical Analyzers Can't Find Enough Gaudy Stat Lines That Explain How Crushingly Bad This Defense Of Denver's Has Played. "they Make Every Offense Look Number One In The League."

If You're The Chiefs, Coming Off Of Something Of A Rough Outing Of Offensive Football, You Don't Want To Earn The Moniker As That Team Who Didn't Have The Juice Against The Weakest Team In Football. The Team That Allows Denver To Test, But the Chiefs Have To Bring Their Find Their Best Game, Something They Haven't Stumbled On.

The Denver Defense Entered The Year With An Emphasis On Defending Tight Ends. Defensive Coordinator Vans Joseph Confronted The Vexing Issue of Containing Travis Kelce By Fitting His Linebackers With "Added Responsibilities." If the Broncos Had A Plan To Defend Kelce, They Didn't Use it, Or At least No One Noticed. Kelce Finished With 9 Catches For 124 Yards, He Eclipsed 100 Yards In The First Half. The Plan Didn't Fly Against Kelce, Who Found opened spots In The Zone And New Heights To Reach Over Double Teams. Patrick Mahomes Put Up an undercooked Final Level Tetris Like Performance To Get Over 300 Yards. The NFL MVP favorite Finished 30/40 On Passing Attempts, 306 Yards, One Touchdown and Pick, And A Passer Rating Of 94.4. Mahomes Completed A lot Wide Open Throws But Several Bang-Bang Plays That Usually Favor The Chiefs. Mahomes Missed A Few Opportunities, Especially Near The Red Zone, And He Had Another Interception, Taking Off The Board Due To A Broncos Penalty, even With 300 Yards. Mahomes Left 50 Plus More Yards On The Field. "I Thought We Did A Lot Of Great Things. Red Zone And Third Down We Didn't Execute At High Level." The Chiefs Won. That's What They Came Into With Intention To Secure. Everyone Expected the Win, But Some Have Questioned If The Lack of A True Number One And If This Wide Receiver By "Committee" Hurts The Chiefs In Close Spots. The Chiefs Ran 70 But Only Muster 19 Points, A Sign Of An Offense Which Struggled To Sustain Drives. Today, Rashee Rice Lead Receivers In Production, 4 Catches, 72 Yards, and 18 Yards Per Completion; no Other Cheifs Receiver Came Close To Matching Rices Production.

The Denver Defense Started The Game With A Forced Field Goal. The Chiefs Driving And Working With A Short Thanks To Their Forcing A Turnover On Down. Mahomes Started The Drive Strong, with a Couple Of First Down And Because We Don't Fear The Broncos' Defense, A Little Trickery, A Pitch Pass From Travis Kelce—the Broncos Bat Down and For A Field Goal. The Broncos' Offense, The Only Redeemable Aspect Of The Team, Turns The Ball Over Two Plays, If you're Broncos, That's Two Drives Two Giveaways.

The Broncos Defense That Again, Vulnerable But AGAINST the Retain Some Luster and Respectability From Years Before As One Of The Best Red Zone Defenses—No. 1 in 2019 and 2020, No. 3 in 2021, and No. 7 last season— The Broncos Safety Justin Simmons Picks Off Patrick Mahomes And A Game Of Two Capable Offenses Starts As Defensive Hold Off. The Chief's Offense That Moved The Ball Didn't Secure A Red Zone Drive And Touchdown Until Near End Of The First Half.

For Superlatives And" Poop" Thrown At The Broncos Defense, Russell Wilson And The Passing Offense Only Produced 24 Passing And Five First Downs Total; The First Time The Broncos Didn't Score In The First Half, Which Surprised A Lot of People Watching. The Broncos Featured The worst offense Last Season By Points Per Game. The 2023 Broncos featured a top-ten offense In Points Per Game, But The Chiefs' Defense Held Russell Wilson And Sean Payton To 0 Points Almost All of the Game. The Broncos Held That Zero With Dignity Until Midway Through The Fourth Quarter.

Compared To the Broncos's Receivers, The Chiefs Receivers, Who I Mentioned Underperformed, Looked Like Superstars, Though Cortland Sutton Came Down With a strong Touchdown Catch To Put The Broncos On The Board.

The Chiefs' Offense Moved The Ball With Better Alacrity This Game But The Broncos' Defense "Stymied" So Many Promising Chiefs Drives. The Chiefs Finished 1-5 IN The Red Zone, One Touchdown, And 4 Field Goals. The Broncos Defense Played A lot Of Zone, Broke Up Enough Passes, Held Up In The Run Game Only Gave Up 3.6 Yards Per Carry In Their Best Showing. The Denver Offense, Outside Of The Run Game, Found No Success Against The Chief Defense. The Chiefs Pass Rush Got In Russell Wilson's Face, Wilson Couldn't Get Around, Through Or Over Anybody On Thursday. I Don't Know What The Broncos Have in Store Because I Can't See This Team Playing Better Than This Loss Against Kansas City, At Least Versus Competitive Teams. Russell Wilson Played His Most Pedestrian Game All Season, 13/22, 95 Yards, Two Interceptions, One Touchdown, And A QBR of 10.1. "I've got to play better. That starts with me." Wilson Said After The Game. Playing Better Would Help, But Denver Owns Their Top Ten Pick Year And A Slight Opening To Discard Wilson Next Offseason Or Usher Him Into Bridge Quarterback Mode.

The Broncos' Rushing Attack Average 5 Yards A Carry and a couple Of Explosive Runs, But Once Down, 13 The Broncos Couldn't Sustain Drive by only Using The Ground Attack. A Sack Performance Helped the Chiefs Secure Another "Ugly" Victory Over A Win Team In Consecutive Weeks. "We strive for something better than what we're doing right now." Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid. You Can Never Tell If The Chiefs Show Signs Of Cause For Concern.

Browns Vs 49ers

"I Thought they Love You When You Make It This Some Other S***"—YG, "Why You Always Hating" Despite Boasting Of Stats Like Nine Touchdowns, 0 Interceptions A Passer Rating Of 123.1 And Starting The Season 5-0 Brock Purdy Continues To Generate Detractors. Every Quarterback Whose Stepped Into The Kyle Shanahan System Does Despite Continued Success, But This Week The Ringer's Steven Ruiz Went Too Far Ranking Purdy 22nd Amongst All Starting Quarterbacks. Takeover One Of The Best Offenses As A Seventh Round Won't Win Over Everyone For Purdy; He Has To Play "Elite." Other Plaudits Came To Brock's Defense, But Purdy's Poor Start Won The Game For The Critics Even If His Final Drive Nearly Won The Game For The Niners But, All For Not. A Late Drive Into Field Goal That Rescued Purdy's Supporters While A Missed Field Goal Doomed The Niners. After Throttling The Cowboys Sunday, I Don't Think Anyone Supposed A Nick Chubb Less, Deshaun Watson Less Browns Team Would Take Down Let Alone Challenge The Niners, But All Game Up Until The End, Neither Team Wanted To Pull Away With The Win. The Browns Defense, Which Took A Week Off From Their Elite "Status" To Get Plastered By The Ravens, Return To Upper Echelon Ways. The Browns Proved They Never Felt Danger, They Bring The Danger.

Outside Of the Niner's First Drive When Christian McCaffrey Performed In Very Christian McCaffrey Ways Avoiding Tacklers, Turning Impossible Predicaments, Surrounded By Opposition Into Epic Moments Like A James Bond Movie.

The Niners Took Five Opening Plays For 64, And McCaffrey Top The Drive Off With A Short Passing Touchdown From Brock Purdy. The Niners' Offense Wouldn't Witness That Level Of Efficiency Again For The Rest Of The Game—the Niners' Defense Made Mince Meat Out of The Phillip Walker Lead Browns Offense. The Niners Found No Success Separating Themselves In the First Half. The Niners's Offense Followed An Early Browns Interception With A Missed Field Goal. The Browns began Pushing Back On McCaffrey, Who Lost Yardage On The First Play Of The Second Drive And Pushed The Niners Out Of Favorable Field Goal Position. As A Team, The Niners Only Produced 215 Easily Their Worst Offensive Out of The Season. The team Lost Christian McCaffrey And Deebo Samuel To Injury And Only Looked Like A viable Offense For Maybe Three Drives All Game, And One Of Those Drives Produced A Missed Field Goal. The Niners Started The Second Minus 12 Yards Over Their First Three Drives, and Outside Of A Touchdown Off Of An Interception In The Red Zone From The Brown's The Niners Had No Offensive Identity. The Niners Had No Run Game, And Outside Of Brandon Aiyuk, the Niners's 4 Catches 78 Receiving Yards, The Niners's Receivers Created Very Little Impact.

Whose Fault, Purdy For Playing His Worst Game Of The Year Or Rookie Kicker Jake Moody For Folding In The Moment.

Teams Like The Niners With Heavy Pay Rolls Like To Cut Salary At Special Teams And Draft Rookie To Fill Voids. The Niners Suffered The Cost Of Success On Sunday.

The Browns Didn't Play Tremendous Offensively Either. The Browns Converted Four Field Goal, The Niners Missed Two.

Amari Cooper Made Some Impressive Catches To Help Lift The Brown Off On His Way To A 108 Yard Game On Four Catches. When Cooper Hooked Up With Walker For A 27 Yard Pass, He Caught The Most Improbable Ball Of 2022 So Far According To Next Stats RunningBacks Jerome Ford And Kareem Hunt Help Put The Game This Game Away For The Browns. Together, They Generated ten rushing First Downs. Foes leads the Team With 84 yards On 17 Carries, 4.9 Per Carry. The Browns Secure A Crucial Win Here. "They Tie Their Shoes Like Us. They're Great, but We're All Here For A Reason," PJ Walker Said After Undaunted By The Niners Mystique.

The AFC North Only Gets Harder, But They Can Walk Away With This Challenge Of The Niners, On A Bad Day, In The Bag. The Rest Of The AFC North Could Only Hope For This Success.

Ravens Vs. Titans

Let's Accept A Few truths about Lamar Jackson: He's An Improved Passer, An Electric Talent, An Impressive Passer But Not A Consistent Or Efficient Passer, And The Argument For Him As a Traditional Pocket Passer Has To Settle. PFF's Bayesian Quarterback Rankings Place Lamar Number But He Finished 20th In EPA In Week Five According To ESPN, So He's Created A Conflict In The Data. (Four Teams Other Team Had Their Bye Week Last Weekend. ) The Qualitative Measures(Tape Study) Support the Notion Of Lamar's Struggles—his Passing Oscillates Between Amazing To Impractical—Lamar Scrum Together A Good Game On The Ground. The Titans Got Run On By A Very Motivated Zach Moss and The Colts. The Titans Have Played On And Off All Season. No One Can Make A Read Of This Mike Vrabel Squad. With Big Wins Against The Bengals And Chargers and Thorough Dismissal By The Browns and Colts Today, The Ravens Almost Turned The Titans Off Completely. The Ravens Jump Out To An 18-3 With Tennessee Barely Mustering Any Offense uncharacteristically Of the Ravens. In Character Of This Jon Harbaugh, The Ravens Almost Gave This One Back To Tennessee. With A 24-13 Lead Late In The Fourth, The Titans Down Starter Ryan Tannehill, The Ravens Commit A Slew Of Penalties, Neutral Infraction, Holding, Illegal, A lot "Cheap Stuff" And Nearly Give Up A Massive 48 Catch And Run Off Of What Looked Like A Chunk Play To Set The Titans Up At the Foot Of The End Zone. The Titan's Biggest Play Off The Game Came With Long Time Ryan Tannehill In The Back Evaluated For Ankle Injury. Tannehill Didn't Accomplish Much In His Time Leading The Titans Offense. He Threw A Pick Right Before Leaving The Game, And The Titans Only Produced Two field goals and Put A Ball In The Air That Generated A Penalty That Put The Titans and Derrick Henry In The End Zone One Play Later. Tannehill Finished 8/16, 76 Yards, one Interception, And A Passr Rating Of 37.5. Tannehill Finished With A Gross Performance Like This Against Cleveland.

With Two Series and Malik Willis Plugged In To Lead The Titans Late Fans In London Got A Treat To A Lot Of Scrambling, Ineffective Pocket Controls Which led to A lot of opportunities in That Short Space Of Time. I Can't Recall What Special Talents I Saw in Willis, Who Four Sacks In Fifteen Plays Before Ending His Time 4/5 For 74 And 14.8 A Throw, Most Of Which Came On That One 48 Yard Play. Willis Generated 118.8 Passer Rating In A Short Sample. Runningback Derrick Finally Produced A Good Game. He's Struggled All Season To Get Going, But 12 Carries, 97 Yards, and 8.1 Per Carry. Not Vintage Henry, But Certainly A Sign Of Life And Decline Simultaneously. The Raven's Defense Pummeled The Titans, With Sacks Total, Seven Tackles For Loss And holding Tennessee To Just A First Half Field Goal And Just 3.9 Yards Per Passing Attempt.

The Ravens Offense Had Another Disappointing Day. Yeah, Lamar Zealots Will Point to The Quarterback's Good Rushing Numbers, The Nice Escape From Pressure, Reset Quick Pass To Zay Flowers For The Ravens Only Touchdown, And Who Can Complain With Six Field Goals From Justin Tucker. Lamar Finished 21/30 passing for 223 yards And Started Hot With Some Big Plays To Nelson Agholor, Odell Beckham Jr, And Mark Andrews. Jackson Connected With Eight Different receivers. At His Best, He Looked Like The Lamar Everyone Envisioned He Could Become. He was Calm In The Pocket And Delivered Darts On Demand. Lamar Scrambled But Controlled Scrambling. "I Wasn't Trying To Run The Ball, But It Was What It Was…" Jackson Said After The Game. "we Gotta Find Ways To Score Points."

For Growth Lamar Needs To Key In One Or Two Of His Receivers, Not Tight end Mark Andrews But A Receiver Like Zay Flowers. The Ravens Get The Win, And Their Defense Especially Their Pass Rush Continues To Press Opponents But In't Call Lamar And Folks A Contender Until They Demonstrate Consistency.

Bucs Vs. lions

Who Would've Thought In The Offseason That A Matchup Between The Tampa Bay Bucs And The Detroit Lions Would Serve As The Highlight Game Of Week Six? Especially After They Announced Baker Mayfield The Starter, And I Have Nothing Against Mayfield. Still, He's Playing Well—the Bucs' Offense is Performing Almost Without A Reflection Of A Run Game. Mayfield's Enjoyed The Fresh Start. Pff Ranked Mayfield Eighth In The League According To The Bayesian Rankings. Mayfield Hasn't Reinvented His Career. If You're Cheering For Him, You Still Clinch Your Teeth As If You're Watching A Horror Movie Bear Down On A Main Character. Your Gut Drops Then Something Good Happens. Bakers Got a Top Ten Passer Rating, 7 Touchdowns, And 2 Picks On The Season So Far. I Believe His Most Impressive Stat, His 5.8 Completion Percentage Above Expected. Completion Percentage Above Expected Usually Indicates A Quarterback Playing Above The Mean Or The Expected. Tampa's Offense Doesn't Have All The Bells And Whistles Of, Say, The Niners Or Dolphins, "It's Day One Football, And Baker's Playing The Game At A High Level. "Said Former NFL Quarterback Chase Daniels On The Athletic's In The Pocket Podcast. The Bucs's Day One Installs Has Baker Posting His Best Bad Throw Percentage And Best On Target Percentage Of His Career While Leaning In On His Playmakers.

Eventually, You Knew Baker Would Come Down To Earth Some, Eventually, Even If The Blame For Tampa's 6 Points Score 14 Points Lost To The Lions. Mayfield Threw An Early Pick On Batted Ball, And That's Not Entirely All His Fault Because He's Short, But He Missed A Wide Open Mike Evans Down Field And Simultaneously Gifted The Lions Great Field Position. Baker Mayfield's Career Still Looked "Revitalized." He attempted Some Good Throws, and His First Completion To Chris Godwin Got The Offense Going, But Outside Of Godwin, None Of The Bucs' receivers Showed Up For Bakers. For Some Reason, The Bucs Offense Forgot How To Catch Multiple Dropped Balls. A Run Game Would've Come In Handy Today, But The Bucs Can't Get Much Going On The Ground, Just 46 Yards. The Lions Struggled To Run The Ball As Well, Thanks To The Bucs' Stout Front, But Who Needs To Run When You Have Amon-Ra St. Brown, Who Can Run And Catch(Preferably Simultaneously). Tampa's Secondary Ranks Amongst The Most Talented In The League, But They Need to Play The Pass Well, and The Lions Violated And Exploited Their Way Through The Pass Game. Detroits Scored Twenty Points, Not The Most They've scored in A Game, and Could've Had More, But Beating Down Tampa was Probably The Best Game The Lions Have Secured All Season. Jared Goff Hit All The Throws, Passes Over The Middle With Pressure In His Face, Into Traffic With The Bucs Trying To Keep The Middle Of The Field Closed And Deep Passes. Goff Finished 30/44 with 353 Passing Yards, Two Touchdowns, and A Passing Rating of 107. 5. If The Lions Play Like They Did Against The Bucs, They Deserve A Seat At The Top Of The NFC. Amon-Ra St. Brown Caught 12 124 A Couple Catches He Converted For 1st Down And a Touchdown 5.7 Yards After The Catch. Jameson Williams, The Speedster, Caught A Big 45 Yard Pass For A Touchdown. The Lions Cadre Of Receiver Present So Much Problems. Ben Johnson Has Length, size, catch Radius, Speed, And Shiftiness At His Disposal, And What Defense Comes equipped To Handle All Of Those Variables? Goff Hit Ten Different Receivers On His Way To The Best Passing Game On Sunday Amongst.

Baker Mayfield Came Down To Earth, And A little Seemed expected. The Bucs Looked To Open Up The Offense For More Concepts, And Mayfield Can't Deliver. On A Third And 12 On The Bucs' Third Baker Scrambles, they Never Look Back Up, Gets Pushed Out Bonds For Three Yards, And stretched out For More Yards As If A few Inches Made A Difference. Baker Finished 19/37 with 206 Passing Yards, 5.6 Per throw, and a 56.8 Passer Rating. Mayfield Didn't Play Bad, Just Not Good Enough. The Bucs Remain The Top Dog In The After The Saints And Falcons.

When The Lions Defense Plays Like This, They Belong Amongst The Top Of The League.

Dolphins Vs. Panthers

The Panthers held A Two Score Lead Over The Dolphins On Sunday For An Entire Quarter And While I Don't Know How Much Time The Dolphins Have Trailed In Games All Season The Panthers Quick Seize The Only Parts Of The Game Felt Startling. While The Panthers' Defense Held F The Dolphins To Just Five And Two 3 And Outs On The First Two Drive, Bryce Young Began Writing A Spoiler Narrative For What Should've Started as An Easy Shane For Dolphins Against Least Competitive Team In Football. After The First Quarter, The Panther Didn't Score Again Until Late Fourth On A Pick Six from Mike White To Troy Hill As The Dolphins Looked To Salt Out The Clock Late. Young Starter The Game 7/8 On Two Drives, With So Much "Bust" Talk Floating Encompassing Young's Name, He Got A Chance To Dust Off the Doubters For A Moment. Bryce Young Found The Magic Talent That Possessed Him At Alabama That Put Him In The Number One Position In Last Year's Draft. He Connected With Receivers Down Field, A Point Of Criticism For Him, He Threw Over The Middle, Connecting With Adam Theilen As Often As Young Could. Young Finished 23/38 One Touchdown, 5.7 Average. Young Still Struggles To Avoid Sacks, He Took Four, Three Came Late In The Game. "you're Not Going To win A game In The First Quarter; Have To Do A Better Job Of Sustaining Drives," Said Bryce Young After The Game "We Have To Earn The Right To Make It Consistent."

No One Expected Bryce Young And 0-5 Panthers To Win. Had A Lead For The Briefest Of Moments, Then The Dolphins Hit One Of Those Events Horizon, Eight Gate Release Moments, And Pushed By With 35 UnAnswered Points And Put This Originally Thought Of Lopsided Contest Back In Frame. No Devon Achane No Problem. Raheem Mostert Stir The Drink For the Dolphin Rushing Attack Last Year, And He jumped In Whip. He Expertly Navigated Running Lanes, had No Trouble Converting The Screen Game Into Big Plays, He Made Panthers Tackles Look Star Troopers Fumbling Around The Place. Like Bryce Young, Tua's An Alabama Quarterback Who Had To Fight Off Early "Bust" And Size and Injury To Arrive At The Top Of The Game. Tua Posted the Best Passer Rating Of Any Quarterback On Sunday At 126 On A Light Day Of Work, only 262 Yards Passing Three Touchdowns. Tua Ascent Provides Evidence That Bryce's Game Can Emerge As A Premier Talent. I've never seen A more Average Talent, Speaking Of Tua, Of Such Great Success. After Bringing To Attention The CIRCUMSTANCES in Israel, Tua Had This To Say After The Game. "If I Were On The Other Side Of The Ball[Lost]… You're Going To Make Mistakes Because You're A Rookie. I Told To Keep The Press and Naysayer That's External Factors… Continue To Believe In Yourself." Tyreek Hill Had Another Big Game As He Cleared The Run away For Him To Take Off With The Top Receiving Yards In The League. Hills's Numbers, 6 Catches On 10 Targets, 163 Yards, One Touchdown, And Ran Around And Away From Panthers Defenders. Jaylin Waddle Added A Touchdown, 51 Receiving On 7 Catches—the Rolled Pass Carolina. No One Panicked When They Fell To Scores.

"To Get Where You Want To Go, You Have To Play Football For Four Quarters." Mike McDaniels.

Please Don't Count The Panthers Out Of the Winning Game This Season; They Have A Couple Of winable games On The Schedule Starting Next Week against Former number-two pick CJ Stroud.
