Super Bowl: Chiefs Vs. 49ers

Call Brock Purdy What You Want; maybe He's The Quarterback With The Best Stats—Even That Moniker Doesn't Fit Anymore—After Finishing The Season's Number-one EPA, QBR, And Passer Rating. Maybe he's the tenth-best player on his team, which works as a compliment in the case of the Niners. The Niners have a lot of talent and are the most pro bowlers. Purdy Willow Face is Probably The Best Statistical Quarterback In Recent Memory. Patrick Mahomes, The Most Feared Man To Face With A Super Bowl At His Opposition. This Season, The Chiefs's Defense Stand At The Door To The Super Bowl With Him. The Youngest Defense In The League Has Turned Into One of The Most Feared Groups, And When The Chiefs Needed Plays In The Second Half, The Defense Closed The Door On The Ravens' Offense In The Red zone Twice. No One Expected The Chiefs To Win Out In The AFC Much Less

Both Teams Have Looked As Vulnerable As Ever On Their Way To This Super Bowl Matchup. Many In The Media Have credited the Niners' wins, Not Superiority Or Masterful Play Calling But Simply Caste The Art Of Kyle Shanahan's Team Having More "Experience" In These Situations compared To The More "Virtuoso" Flash Of The Detroit Lions And Green Bay Packers. Experienced Played A Role In The Niners Beating The Packers, The Lions "Choke" And The Niners Duck Under The Buzz Saw And Made The Superbowl. Admittedly, I Wanted To see Josh Allen Versus Anyone, But The Chiefs Have Looked Like The Better Option Out of The AFC This Season. Brock Purdy Didn't Look Intimidated Early: not Intimidated By The Moment Of The Super Bowl, Not Intimidated By The Chiefs' Third Rank Defense, Heights Started 2/2, But He's Not The Only Niners Facing the Fresh "Gitters" Of The Super Bowl. Christian McCaffrey is The Offensive Player Of The Year and the kickstarter of The Niners' Offense. He's Getting The Most Playoff Play Of His Career. If we're talking about experience, the Chiefs had the Niners lock. A Promising Chiefs's Drive That's Started With Two Completions By Brock Purdy And Three Rushes For 19, But A Force Fumbles Ends The Niners Open Salvo At Five Plays 48 Yards, With Purdy Seven Yards From The Red Zone. If The Fumble By McCaffrey Feels Strange, He's Only Fumbled Three Times or At Least Lost Three Fumbles.

Most of Kyle Shanahan's concepts flow off of the runs by McCaffrey, and the Niners picked up a lot of yardage but finished the fourth quarter blank. Neither Teams Scored In The First, But Mahomes And The Chiefs Picked Just One First Down.

Within All Of The Noise About The Offenses, We Forget These Defenses Get Paid Well. The Chiefs Gave Up Two Big Plays, Including Big 18 Yarder To Brandon Aiyuk, But Kansas City Shut The Door On The Niners despite Brock Purdy Still Not Missing A Pass. McCaffrey Would Make Up For The loss of Possession With The game's First Touchdown In the Second Quarter. The Niners Run The Whole double Pass. Kyle Set The Play Earlier With A Screen Pass To Deebo Samuel. This Time, Purdy Targets Juan Jennings, And Jennings Threw The Ball Backwards( Or Across The Field)To Christian McCaffrey, Who Dashes Away From A Heard Of Surging Cheifs And Into The Endzone. Jennings and McCaffrey Generate 21 Yards On The Pass.

Instead, Kansas City Picks Up A forced fumble. The Niners' Defense Gets Off the Field In Just Three Plays Facing the Arm Of Patrick Mahomes. The Chief's First Two Drives Featured Just 7 Plays For 16 Yards. The Niners Get The First Points On The Board With Jake Moody. The Niners Ranked Near The Bottom Of The League In Special Team and Moody's A Big part Of The Problem. He Missed A 48 48-yard field Goal Against Detroit But Turned The Corner And Came Through On Sunday to Cap Off a 10-play 46-yard drive By The Niners With A 55 55-yard kick. Brock Purdy connected with Ray-Ray McCloud and Chris Conley for two big passes of 18 and 19 yards and moved to 8/11 to start the game for 105 passing yards. However, Patrick Mahomes Connected On The Biggest Play Of The First Half. On The Chiefs First Drive Of The Second Quarter, The Niners Force Mahomes To Roll Out to His Left A Pass Skyward Like A Firecracker, And The Pass Drops Into Double Coverage, But Both Niners Defenders Missed The Play On The Ball, And Mecole Hardman Comes Down With The Play. Niners Defensively Back Tyshawn Gibson Turned His Eyes Back But Lost Play On The Ball. The Pass To Hardman was the longest play of the first half. With The Chiefs In The Red Zone for The First Time, Either The Niners Make a Defensive Stop On The Next Play. Andy Reid Installs A Run Play For Isaiah Pacheco, Who Picked The Chiefs's First Down Conversion With His Legs, but The Niners Force A Fumble Of Their Own. The Chiefs Would Fight Their Way Back Into The Red Zine Late In The 2nd Quarter. The Niners' Pressure Continues To Force Mahomes Out, But Heights Delivered on the Chiefs's Final Drive Of The Half. The Chiefs Eat Up 13 Total Plays, and Mahomes completes 6/7 Passes To Get The Chiefs Down To The Red Zone, including A 21 Yard Pass To Justin Watson To Convert A 3rd And 9. The Chiefs Wouldn't Have This Fortune On Their Next Third Down As Patrick Mahomes Gets sacked By Arik Armstead at The Niners' Ten And settles for A field goal. The Chiefs Fumble Their Second Red Zone Opportunity Without Actually "Fumbling". Pacheco And Mahomes, However, Fumble To start The third Quarter To Set The Chiefs Backwards On Their First Drive Of The New Half. The Chiefs recover the ball, but Patrick Mahomes throws an intercept two plays, his first pick in 218 playoff passes. Mahomes Escaped Pressure Again Only To Over Throw A Target, And Niners Rookie Jayir Brown Takes In The Pick. The Defensive Battle Continued. Many Fans On Social Media Questioned Andy Reid's Play Calling, And I Don't Blame Them. He Didn't Get Travis Kelce Involved Enough, and the Chief's Dearth Of Weapons Began To Protrude—Rashi Rice Who?— Only Four Catches For The Rookie Rashee Rice, And Neither Team Picked A First Down until Mid Way Through The Third Quarter. in The Second Half The Niners Started Losing Players To Injury. Line Backer Dre Greenlaw Left The Game Early In The First Half With an apparent Achilles Tear On A Quizzical Stride Entering The Game: Greenlaw Just Falls and Leaves On A Cart. , Deebo Left In The Third Quarter With an Apparent Hamstring Injury. The Chiefs Pick Up Two More First Down Thanks To The Underrated Legs Of Patrick Mahomes. He's not known for his legs like Lamar Jackson or Josh Alllen. Those two almost hurt their play using their legs; Mahomes uses his legs more judiciously and, in effect, more critically. Mahomes Converts A Short 3rd And Fourth, And Later a 22-yard Run Helps The Chiefs Flip Field Position. The Cheifs Drive Wouldn't Last, And Neither Would Jake Moody's Field Goal Record. In Three Plays, The Chiefs Gain Two Yards And Settle, And I Mean Settle, Vert Lightly For A 57 Yard Harrison Butker Field Goal. Butker Leg Gives Off Just Enough Gas To Get The Chiefs On The Boards First In The Second Half, But Kansas City Still Looked Up At A 10-6 Deficit. The Niners' Offense Would Struggle To Build On That Lead As Through Three Drive Purdy Completes Just Two Of Seven passes for -1 Yards, The Offense Produces 2 Yards, Total And Punts Three Drives Three Outs. The Niners Would Have To Wait On Their Fourth Drive, As The Return Fails To Secure A Punt, Which Bounces Off A Niners Player, and The Chiefs Recover And Waste No Time With Converting Their Third Red Zone Opportunity. This Opportunity The Niners Gift Patrick Mahomes, And In One Play, Mahomes Hits Marques Valdez-Scantling For 16 Yards, And The Chiefs Take A 13-10 Lead. The Wait For Niners Would Prove Fruitful. In the fourth, everybody on social media is begging Shanahan to run the ball, But now the "Shaking" hands of Brock Purdy Get the call. In Twelve Plays, The Niners Run Seven (7) Passes And Five(5)Runs To Cross 75 Yards, And Brock Purdy Connects With Juan Jennings For 10 Yards, The Touchdown, And The Lead. Jennings becomes the second player and the first wide receiver to catch and pass for a touchdown in the Super Bowl. The Niners Climb Back Into The Drivers's Seat 16-13. The Chiefs Respond With A 12 Play 69 Yard Drive And Knock In A 24 Yard Field Goal Off The Leg Of Harrison Butker, 24 Yards And Ties The Game 16-16. The Niners engineer Three Points Of Their Own. In A Game With Two Of The Best Statistical Quarterbacks, The Kickers Entered ThEir Name Into The MVP Conversation. With Under Two Minutes To Go, Patrick Mahomes Orchestrates Another Field Goal For The Chiefs On The Strength Of A Big Catch, and For The Second Game In A Row, The Chiefs Face Overtime With Patrick Mahomes and "Momentum." The Niners's Score First

The Chiefs Through all The Adversity, The Struggles On Offense, The Lost Zaire Of Invincibility, The Questions About Andy Reid's Game plan. How Reid Figured To Set Up A Game Winning Touchdown From The Start Of The Game. The Touchdown, Of Course, Went To Mecole Hardman, Who Started The Season On The Jets Following Aaron Rodgers. Instead, The Jets Cut Hardman After Things Went South. Hardman Landed With A Chiefs Desperate For Anything Resembling A Sturdy Pair Of Hands, And Mahomes Found Hardman To Seal The Chiefs Third Super Bowl In The Mahomes-Reid Era. With all the focus on the Chiefs' lack of broad receiver talent, the Niners' all-pro players didn't step up throughout this game. The Niners' passing game produced 279 passing yards, And the Chiefs Seatbelted.

Defensive Backs Facing Brandon Aiyuk Generated A lot Of Pass Breaks, Ups And Outside Of One Or Two Big Plays, Purdy Couldn't Get His Top Threat Going.

Chiefs All-Pro Corner Trent McDuffie Register Three Pass Breakups Himself. The 2022 Cornerback Draft Class Continues To Surge To The League's Best With Sauce, Derek Stingley Jr. and McDuffie. Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl MVP, but the Chiefs' secondary won. The

Deebo Samuel spent the past two weeks lambasting his NFC Rivals(Eagles, Cowboys) but struggled with a hamstring injury and produced just three cats for 33 yards. Both Teams Struggled In The End Zone, Niners 1-2, Chiefs 2-6, But Two Touchdowns For The Chiefs Made The Difference.

CMC Toted The Weight For The Niner's 160 Total Scrimmage Yards, But Heights Struggled On The Ground With 3.5 Per Carry. Heights PICKED a lot Of Yards In The Overtime For The Niners, And The Chiefs Rank Near The Bottom In Run Defense. Spagnola and the Chiefs' Defense: Dear Brock Purdy, to beat them locked up One-on-one and the Niners falling short.

George Kittle, Silenced, The Niners Toght End Finished With Just Two Catches For Four Yards And Left Over Time With An Injury. The Niners' Defense Generated More Sacks, Three, But The Chiefs Registered More QB Hit; Chris Jones Ate Up A lot Of Niners Plays Up The Gut. Travis Kelce Shook Off A Slow Start And Finished 9 Catches For 93 Yards. Mecole Hardman Caught 2 Passes After His Big 52 52-yard play, Including The Thee Yard Touchdown Simple Wipe Route. He Finished With 3 Catches For 57 Yards.

Injuries And Effectiveness Cost The Niners; Shanahan's Team Appeared Baffled By The Overtime Rules, And While That Falls On The Coaching Shanahan Simply Didn't Prepare Enough For Over time And Assumed His Team Would Close The Game Out In Regulation. Patrick Mahomes, Started The Game Slow. He picked up 34/46 for 333 passing yards, two touchdowns, one intercept, a QBR of 75.8, and a passer rating of 99.3.

He Didn't Look Like SuperHuman Mahomes; Instead, Heights Look Like The MeThodical Genius Who Knew Where He Wanted To Go With The Ball and Got His Play When He Wanted Points On The Board.

The End of The Game Becomes A "Responsibility" Chant: For The Niners, No One On The Team Performed Well Enough For Them To Win This Game—Brock Purdy, 23/38, 255 Passing Yards, A Touchdown, 89.3 Passer Rating. On Sunday In Las Vegas, In A Stadium Patrick Mahomes Has Never Lost In, The Preparedness Of The Chiefs Bested The Talent Of The Niners.
