NFL Draft Grades

By the End Of The 1st Three Rounds Of The NFL Draft, Most NFL Teams Give Fans A General Sense Of How They Want To Build The Front End Of The Roster For Next Season. Sure, Teams Can Find a lot of Gems On The Backend of Day Three When Teams Usually Flesh Out Depth And Take Athletic Projects With Value, But The Meat And Bones Of the Franchise's Investment Scouting, Backgrounds, Draft Knowledge, and Trade Calls become actuated by The End Of Day. By Round One, fans can usually identify their symptoms from Draft Night as surprised, excited, Nauseated, appalled, and confused but eager regardless. The First Round Pick Marks The Crown Jewel Of Any Draft, But A Draft Grade Encapsulates The Work Of The Entire Draft. A solid first-round pick can Veneer a poor day two and three drafts, but an aced day two and three can't excuse a day one flop. Teams, Especially in The Top 15, Have To Crush The First Round. How Every  Team Faired In My opinion, Let's Get Breaking Down.

Arizona Cardinals, A.

The Cardinals Take Home A  Haul, A Full 12 Picks Seeking, Inclusions Two 1st Round Picks, Four 3rd Rounders And Two 5th To Advance One Of The League's Weakest Rosters.

The Cardinals Struck The First pick Right With Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State—the Card's Return to Kyler Murray, a Promising young Receiver With Great Size.

The Cardinals needed Defensive Help, Adding Mountain Mover Darius Robinson To The Defensive Front And Coverage Cornerback Max Melton From Rutgers. In the third round, the Cards grabbed Trey Benson, arguably the best back in the draft and the heir apparent to James Connors. In The Later Rounds, the Cards get a nice, blocking tight end in Illinois, a tip remains, and a solid edge in Xavier Thomas.

Atlanta Falcons, B+.

I like Micheal Penix, But His Age Made Me Omit Him From My Top Five Quarterbacks. The Washington  Product  Has next-level arm Power and Great footwork. Every Quarterback Prospect Has Had Their Game Picked At In One Area Or Another--Except Joe Burrow And Trevor Lawrence--Atlanta Should've Traded Back and Taken Penix Outside The Top Ten But Fear Of The Broncos Accelerated The Move. The Move For Penix Blindsided Kirk Cousins Who Now Steps Into A $40 Million Bridge Quarterback Role because  Penix Will See the Field By 2025.Atlanta Content Offensively, Flesh Out The Defense Drafting Four Straight Defensive Players Starting With Clemson Defensive Tackle Ruke Orhorhoro A Near 300 lbs Firecracker. Washington Edge Bralen Trice, One Of The Higher Rated Players At His Position To Sli Butler, The Falcons Need Edge Production. Brandon Dorlus is a defensive tackler, and JD Bertrand is a linebacker from Notre Dame. Bertrand leads the Irish In Tackles, and Though On The Smaller Side, He'll Have To Play Off Ball. Later In The Falcons Draft, A Running back—Go Figure—Jase McClellan From Alabama, Who won't get Too Many Snaps Because Of That Bijan Robinson Thing Going On In Atlanta. The Falcons Add Receiver Depth With Casey Washington Before Ironing Out Their Wrinkles With The Massive 6'6 314 Zion Logue, Defensive Tackle Georgia. I Think The Falcons Came With A Solid Draft. Overall, You Want To Get Penix Later, But You'd Rather Have Him Than Someone Else. The 2024 Team Will Build Off Of The Foundation Already Laid By Arthur Smith over the Previous Three Years.

Baltimore Ravens, A-. The Ravens Fortified A Strength With Their Defensive Selections. Despite The Number One Defense In Football Last Season, the Ravens Had A Need At Corner, Drafting My Number One Guy In Nate Wiggins; then, in the Fourth round, The Ravens Picked Up An Absolute Steal Internal TJ Tampa, one Of The Highest Corners In This Draft Class. The Defense Also Needed To replace Patrick Queen, Jadeveon Clowney, and Possibly Odafe Oweh. After This Season, The Ravens Pick Up Adisa Isaac's Internal in The Third Round. The Ravens Bolster A "Weak" Offensive Line Depth With Roger Rosengarten Tackle Out Of Washington. I Like Devonte's Walker in the Fourth Round As A Wide Receiver Prospect And Potentially A Third Receiver Behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Batemon.

Buffalo Bills, C.

The Bills entered The Draft With A Glaring Need At The Position Receiver, And Despite Almost Falling To Bereavement At The Pass Catcher Position, The Bills Found  Room To Trade Out Of The First Round Twice And Come Away With a Prime Target Catcher. The Bills selected Florida State Wide Receiver Keon Coleman as the first pick in the second round. They suffered a lot of turnovers on Defense And Drafted Safety Cole Bishop Fron Utah With Their Other Second Round. Buffalo I Feared Didnt Go Far Enough In Revamping Their Secondary  After An Offseason That Watch Them Let Go Of A Handful Of Their Starters. Behind an aging Rasul Douglas, The Bills' Defense Will Suffer Through The Growth Of a Lot of Unproven Talent. The Bills Add An Excellent Defensive Linebacker Talent, Edefuan  Ulofoshio, The Eighth Ranked At His Position By ESPN In The Fifth Round—Dwayne Carter: A Solid Rotational Defensive Tackle.

Carolina Panthers, A-.

The Panthers started the draft with no first-round picks, and at 33 in the second round, they could have stayed there but decided to move forward and grab their guy wide receiver, Xavier Leggette. Not The Separation Animal The Panthers May Have Wanted New Head Coach Dave Conales Has Type Coming From Seattle and Tampa Bay; Big Receivers. Leggette Meets The Criteria. In The Second Round, The Panthers Pick Up Number One Running Back Jonathan Brooks From Texas, Who I Believe Immediately Pushes Miles Saunders And Chubba Hubbard Off The Top Spot On The Panthers'  Running Back Hierarchy After The Latter Suffered A Slump Season, And The Former Becomes A Free Agent This Season. The Panthers Get Athletic linebacker Tevin Wallace In The Third Round, The Number Two Ranked Linebacker, Before Moving On To Tight End Ja'Tavion Sanders In The Fourth Round. The Panthers Hit The Right Buttons In This Draft. Carolina Found A Way Into The First Round, And The Revamp Offense Has Started To Take Form.

Chicago Bears, B+.

The Bears had one job in the draft, so they selected Caleb Williams and Cruise. Despite Some Contrived Drama—Williams Not Liking Chicago Or Him Possibly Returning To USC For Another Season (Cue The GoodFella's Laughing Meme) The USC Product Went Number One To The Chicago Bears. With just five picks, the Bears use the number nine overall pick to draft Washington wideout Romeo Odunze. Some mock-ranked Odunze as the Number One wide receiver in the draft, and now he is entering his rookie year as the Bears' third receiver. Chicago Now Has A Top Ten Offense, At Least, Theoretically. Odunze Could Roam As One Of The Top Receivers On Any Team. The Bears Use Their only Pick of day Two On Offensive Lineman  Penn State Offensive Lineman Koran Amegadje. In The Fourth, Iowa Punter Tory Taylor and Edge Rusher Austin Booker.

Cincinnati Bengals, B.

The Bengals Enter Every Offseason With The Same Plan: How Do They Improve Their Constantly Distressed Offensive Line?  At 18, The Bengals Select Amarius Mims Tackle From Georgia. Mims Will Fit Into The Right Side Of The Line Right Side Of The Line Next To Orlando Brown. The Bengals Lost Defensive Tackle DJ Reader In The Offseason. In The Second Round, The Bengals selected Kris Jenkins, DT Out Of Michigan, And Just Like Mims, Jenkins Will take over A Starting Spot In The Middle Of Cincinnati's Defense. The Bengals also suffered a significant loss receiver, with Tahj Byod gone and potentially Tee Higgins in the third round. The Bengals Took Alabama, Smooth Sailer, and Jermaine Burton. The Bengals Fortify The Defensive Tackle Position With McKinnley Jackson Out Of Texas A&M And Then Double Up On The Tight End Position With Erick Hall From Iowa and  Tanner MClahlan From Arizona. The Bengals Have Needed Promising Prospects At The Position Since CJ Uzomah Departed After The Bengals' Super Bowl Appearance.

Cleveland Browns, C. The Storm Has Ended In Cleveland, The Deshaun Watson Trade Has Rendered The Final Charge To Cleveland's Draft Account. Cleveland And GM Andrew Berry Know How To Play The Ropes On Day 2&3. The Bromn Pick Up Some Forced Up The Middle Select  Ohio State Defensive Tackle Micheal Hall Jr, Who Has Six Sacks In His College Career, A Solid Pick   Of Someone who projects As A Situational Pass Rusher. In The 3rd, Cleveland  Picks Up Michigan Offensive Tackle Zak Zinter, The Fifth Rank Guard In The Draft, Who Projects As A Day One Starter For The Browns. In The Fifth Round, Louisville Wide Receiver Jamari Thrash, a fluid-moving route Runner Who Ran 4.4 At The Combine, Goes To The Browns' Receiving Room To Comb Out Space In Cleveland's Draft Room. On the Back Of Day Three In The 6&7 Rounds, The Browns Pick up Some Solid Defensive Prospects: Nathaniel Watson, Linebacker Who Ranked ninth In This Class In The Sixth Round—Miles Harden, slot Corner From South Dakota, and The Seventh  Defensive Tackle Jowon Briggs. Cleveland Got A Solid Haul To Add To Their Strong Roster.

Dallas Cowboys, A.

The Cowboys performed some "Nasty" work, revamping the offensive line in this draft, starting With replacing Long Time Tackle Tyron Smith with Oklahoma's mammoth Tyler Guyton. In the Third, the Cowboys Also Select Highly Touted Guard Cooper Bebe. In the 2nd, The Cowboys Select Edge Rusher Mershawn Kneeland To Add To and Maybe Replace Members Of Their Feared Front. The Cowboys Address Their Depth With The Rest Of Their Picks Like Corner Caelen Carson Out Of Wake Forest. In Strengthening Their Offensive Line, The Cowboys Hit The Mark with Their Draft.

Denver Broncos, C+.

The Broncos Had To Make A Move At Quarterback, And With No Room To Move Up, And All The Top Games Off The Board Instinct Superseded Projection, The Broncos Took Oregon Quarterback Bo Nix. Nix, In My Opinion, Hovers between The Planes Of a Starter and Backup In The NFL, But He's A "Proven" Talent With an Easily Projectable Skill Set. The Broncos' Second Pick, Jonah Ellis, Fills A Desperate Need for An edge Rusher From Utah. The Broncos Also Pick Up A Sneaky Wide Receiver Prospect in Devaughn Vele Out Of Utah, A 6'4 Lengthy, "good blend of size and speed." The Broncos Also Picked Up One Of The Draft's Top Receiver Prospects In Oregon's Troy Franklyn Bo Nix's College Teammates. After Releasing Russell Wilson, Sean Payton, and his staff will bank the hopes of their tenure on the arm of Bo Nix, but there will be no pressure.

Detroit Lions, A+.

The Only A+ I Think I'll Give Out. The Lions came two-quarters short of making the Super Bowl, and shamefully, they blew their shot to shock the world. The Lions Fielded A Team Nearly Complete On All Phases Except Secondary And Pass Defense. Detroit Rank Near The Bottom And Entered The Draft with A Clear Need In The Secondary. The Lions Not Only Came Away With One Of The Top Prospects At Cornerback But Two, Terrion Arnold Of Alabama And Ennis Rackstraw Jr of Missouri, Both Of Whom Project Ari started On The Outside For The Lions As Rookies. In The Fourth, The Lions Pick Up Some Offensive Line Depth With Giovanni Manu Out Of British Columbia. He's More Of A Project. In The Sixth, Mekhi Mingo was a Ten Defensive Tackle, A Guy Who Ranked 88th Overall By ESPN In The Draft Out Of LSU—Christian Mahogany: Another Top Ten Talent At Guard Internal The Seventh Round. After The Lions Grabbed Two Corners, They Won The Draft, And I Expect Detroit To Return To The NFC As The Top Contender.

Green Bay Packers, B.

After a Decade Of David Baktihari Anchoring Aaron Rodgers Blindside, The Pack offense Will Transition Once More, This Time At Tackle, Welcoming Jordan Morgan To The O-Line. Morgan: A Lighter Tackle With Agility Who Can Block Internal Space and Opening Room In Matt Lafleur's Run Game. On Day Two, The Pack Score Big With Number One Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper Out of Texas A&M In The Secondary Round, A High Motor Rangy Guy Who Can Attack In The Run Game And Play Off Ball. In The Third, The Pack snagged the Number One Safety, Javon Bullard, Out Of Georgia, and The Packers severely needed Secondary Help. Bullard's A Hard Hitting With Excellent Coverage Extincts, And The Packers Collected Both In The Secondary Round. With Their First Third Round Pick, The Pack Grabb USC's Marshawn Lloyd, Who Now Replaces Aaron Jones. Three Picks Later, In The Third Round, The Pack picked linebacker Ty'ron Hopper From Missouri. The Pack Picked Up Multiple Safety Prospects In Evan Williams And Kitan Oladapo From Oregon State, Who Ranked 9th Amongst Safeties But Fell Because Of The Depression At The Position. The Pack Revamp The O-Line And Infused A Surge Of Youth Into The Secondary.

Houston Texans, A.

The Texans Boast One Of The Youngest, Strongest, And Cheapest Rosters In The NFL And As Such Houston Possessed The Liberties To Invest In One Of The Team's Strengths On Defense In The Secondary. After Trading Out Of The First Round, The Texans Take Cornerback Kamari Lassiter From Georgia, Who Tested Brilliantly At The Combine And Appeared Slated To Start Opposite Derek Stingley Jr. in Demeco Ryan's Defense And A Secondary That Picked Off 14 Passes Last season.  The Texans Roster Features Two Bookend Offensive Lineman Internal, Laremi Tunsil And Tytus Howard.  Howard, However, Struggled With Injuries In The Secondary Round. The Texans Selected offensive tackler Blake Fisher, who is a solid right tackle prospect. In The Third, The Texans Dig Back Into The Secondary, This Time To Get Jalen Pitre, A Tag Team Partner In Safety Calen Bullock,  Out Of USC. Bullock a Lighter On His Feet, Speedier Rangy Free Safety Who Can Come Down Into The Box To Cover In The Slot. The Texans Got A Lot of Splash Plays From Tight End Dalton Shultz, and He's The Top Guy, But They Add Another Tight End In Cade Stover, Who Figures To Serve More In The Blocking Game For The Texans Run Game. Demeco Knows A Thing Or Two About Linebackers In The 6th Round. He picked up a "Project" in Jamal Hill, who moved from defensive back to linebacker last season and still needs more work to adjust to the position.  The Texans Made Nine Picks In Total, Adding Another Running Back In Jawhar Johnson From Louisville And Picking Added Offensive Line Force in Ladarius Henderson from Michigan. I Judge The Draft Based On How The New Haul Affects What The Team Already consists of From A Season Ago. Overall, The Texans Addressed Weaknesses On Defense And Fortify Positions in the Future.

Indianapolis Colts, B.

The Colts finished with a quizzical draft where some players fell directly into the Colts' arms, and the Colts made away with some strong prospects. I Didn't View Edge Rusher As A Need, But With The Draft's Top Ranked Edge On The Board, the Colts Selected Laiatu Latu—the UCLA Product Latu Will Pair With Young Edge Kwity Paye. The Colts Finished the Top 5 In Pass Rush Win Rate, and Total sacks, and Latu Will Give CJ Stroud, Trevor Lawrence, and Will Levis A Tough Time. Adonai Mitchell Lands With The Colts In The Second Round. Anthony Richardson Only Played Four(4) Games Last Year But Show Promise. Shane Steichen's Offense Now features a Vertical Quick Threat With Size to Go Along With Micheal Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs—the Colts Dig Into The Trenches With Offensive Lineman From Pittsburgh. In The Fourth Round, Center Tanor Bortolini From Wisconsin Can Bind A Pass Blocking Unit Near The League's Worst. Internal The Colts pick up three players, including wide receiver Anthony Gould from Oregon State. Standing In At 5'8, 174lbs, Gould Projects As A Punt Returner. Following Gould, two SEC safety prospects with the same name spelled differently are Jaylon Carlies from Missouri and Jaylin Simpson from Auburn, who are joining a decent secondary in Indy. Micah Abraham From Marshall In The Sixth round And Jonah Laulu, a Defensive Tackle From Oklahoma. The Colts Pulled Away With A lot Of

Jacksonville Jaguars, B-. I Heard A lot About SEC Biases Regarding drafting Butler. The Jags slammed The Bottom In This Draft, With 6 Of Their nine players Hailing From College Football's Strongest Conference, Starting In The First Round. The Jags Have Searched For Years to Secure A Number One Threat To Spur Along Trevor Lawrence's Development. This Time, Jacksonville Went Through The Draft Route With Brian Thomas Jr. Though, not A True Number One, The LSU product's Speed And high-rising ability make him A Dynamic Number 1B Style Of Player. Thomas Compares Well To Tee Higgins But a Little Faster, Lawrence Found Massive Success Playing With Higgins At Clemson. In The Second Round, the Jags dip back into the  LSU Prospect. This time, they are on defense with Masson Smith. Most Of Us Know Edge Rusher Josh Allen Holds Down The Outside Of The Jags Now Jacksonville Plugs In A Force Up Front. The Jags Needed To Add Some Talent To Their Secondary. With significant improvements to their secondary and defensive front and secondary, with the addition of Brian Thomas Jr., the Jags have enough to make another run at the AFC South Title that slips out of their hands.

Kansas City Chiefs, B.

Andy Ried Achieved One Of Te Greatest Feats Of His Coaching Career, He Won The Super Bowl With The Worse Or At Least The Most "Boring" Offense He's Ever Assembled And The Most Controlled Patrick Mahomes We've Seen In The Quarterbacks Career, That's Going To Change. In The First Round, The Chiefs Add an Explosive Wide receiver, Texas's Xavier Worthy. Worthy Broke The Combined Record On The 40 Yard Dash butler. He's More Than Just A Deep Threat; He's Got Supreme YAC Potential. Kansas City also got some dismal work from its offensive line. Andy Reid Improved On His Group With Offensive Lineman Kingsley Suamataia From BYU In The Second Round—Suamataia Enters Camp as a Projected Starter At Left Tackle. With Travis Kelce Accelerating In Age, The Chiefs Drafted Jared Wiley From TCU. The Chiefs Exhausted Three Picks On The Offensive Line

With The Intent To Explore The New Ranges Of The Offense.

Las Vegas Raiders, C.

The Raiders Draft Garnered Attention, not for Whom They Drafted, but for the Position They Passed Up On Over The Course Of 8 Picks; Quarterback. The Raiders Did Not Draft a Quarterback, Meaning For Another Season, Devante Adams Will Catch From Some Combination Of Passers, Which Again Includes Aidan O'Connell As The Presumed Starter.  Who Else Will Catch Passes From O'Conell's Number One Tight End Brock Bowers? Fans Finally Get To Watch The Georgia Prospect In NFL action. Prospect Brock Bowers, Whom The Raiders Selected 13th. Bowers Enters The Black Hole A Celebrated Draft Pick who Could've Gone Top Ten Last Year when The Tight End Position was Deprecated. Instead, He'll Add To The Assortment Of Offensive Coordinator Luke Getty's Weapons. After Suring Up The Top Phase Of Their Offense, The Raiders Move To Bolster Their Offensive Line With Highly Touted Guard/Center Prospect Austin Powers-Johnson, Who Played Center At Oregon But Projects To Play Guard As A Pro. The Raiders also pick up swing tackle at Delmar Glaze. The Raiders, Who Always Appear In Need Of Cornerback, Help Add Lengthy Corner Decameron Richardson From Mississippi State In The Fourth and M.J. Devonshire From Pitt In The Seventh Round—the Raiders First Draft With Antonio Pierce As Coach Set The Table  To Build Forward.

Los Angeles Chargers, B+. The Chargers Hit The Nail On The Head With This Draft. Jim Harbaugh Resisted The Urge To Go Michigan "Crazy" And Only Selected Two Players From His Al Malter. Still, the Chargers choose the proper draft and season to offload their aging receivers as They pick up some good receivers outside the first round. With the Top Tackle Available, The Chargers Select Notre Dame Left Tackle Joe Alt fifth Overall. Alt will bookend the right side as the Chargers expect Rashawn to be slated to return to the form. In the Second, The Chargers Take Wide Receiver Ladd McConkey, The Supercharged Slot Dynamo From Georgia. McConkey Will Serve As Herbert's Top Target, Joined By Brenden Rice From USC And Cornelius Johnson From Michigan. Rice and Johnson Could've Higher Given Rice—The Son Of Jerry Rice— Ranked 14th With Excellent Size and Pedigree. Johnson is more sized at 6'3-6'4, but he has some small hands. The Chargers Roll Out Four Picks In The Mid Rounds On Defensive Prospects, Linebacker Junior Colson From Michigan, Two Cornerbacks Tarheeb Still From Maryland, and Cam Hart From Notre Dame. The Chargers Finished Near The Bottom Of The League(28th) In Passer Rating Last Season, And LA Hopes The Rookies Can Swing Things In Another Direction Under Jim Harbaugh's Staff.

Los Angeles Rams, B+.

After Playing God Or Alchemist Last season With Turning Nothing Into Something And Utilizing End Draft Picks To Create End Production, Sean McVay And Les Snead Had Resources To Work With In The 2024 Drive. At 16, Football Waited To Watch How The Rams Would Navigate, Trade Out, Or Select A Rounder For The First Time Since Jared Goff Internal 2016. The Rams Selected Florida State University Powerful Edge Jared Verse. The Other Big Story Line For The Rams: Who Replaces Aaron Darnold? The Rams Reach Back Into The Florida State Bag and Select Massive Blocker Eater Braden Fiske. The Rams had a surprise top-ten rushing offense last season, thanks to the emergence of Kyren Williams. Now, the Rams have added Michigan running back Blake Corum to Stable. The Rams Made A Total Of Ten Picks, including Efforts To Stabilize The Defensive Line With an Added Edge Rusher And Defensive Tackle As Well as Safety Before Moving toward the Offensive End Of The Ball. Les Snead And The Rams Captured a Brilliant Draft. They Didn't Draft A Quarterback, But They'll Roll In With The Veterans.

Miami Dolphins, B-.

The Dolphins Passed On Offensive Tackle Early But Still Rounded Out The O-Line Later. Instead, The Dolphins Re-Enforce A Strength Along The Defensive Line With Penn State Edge Chop Robinson. The Miami Dolphins Roster Features Two Of The League's Youngest, Most Polished Edge Rushers In Football In, Bradley Chubb And Jaelen Phillips Butler. Neither has managed to maintain a steady bill of health over their career, though Overkill Choo should ensure that the dolphins preserve some level of success in the pass rush. In The Second Round, The  Dolphins Went Offensive Line With Mammoth Prospect Patrick Paul From Houston, A Strong and Nimble Prospect. The Dolphins Add Another Speedy Running Back Internal, Jaylen Wright, Out of Tennessee. Like Most Of The Dolphins's Roster, Devon Achane Struggled With Injuries Last The Dolphins Add Depth At The Position. Miami Added another Edge Rusher In Mohamed Kamara From Colorado State, And Two Slot Receivers In Malik Washington and Tahj Washington. The Dolphins used Their Draft To Fortify The Legs Of Their Fragile Roster Rather Than Improving and fleshing out The Skeleton Of What Remains.

Minnesota Vikings, A.

I Love Minnesota's Draft. The Vikings Failed To Trade Into The Top Three For Drake Maye But Came Away With Three Of My Favorite Prospects In This Draft, Including JJ McCarthy and Dallas Turner. Turner ranked number one on my edge on my board and became the second edge taken after Jared Verse went to the Rams, a pick before him.  Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores Gets A Versatile Outside Linebacker. The Vikings Wanted Drake Maye But Settle For McCarthy, And That's A Great Talent To Settle For In The End. I think McCarthy possesses latent Potential Comparable To Caleb Williams, But Michigan's Offense Didn't Always Let Him Tap Into Those Abilities. I Like Khyree Jackson As Well A Big Corner Who Can Matchup With The Growing Stature Of Receivers. The Vikings may have to wait for McCarthy's full untapped ability, but this team under Kevin O'Connell has taken another step into Super Bowl contention.

New England Patriots, A-.

The Patriots Nailed Their First Draft Without Bill Belichick. The Patriots picked up the most coveted quarterback in the draft, considering that everyone knew the quarterback hierarchy by drafting North Carolina's Drake Maye third overall—Maye Projects To Take The Starting Spot At The Start Of Camp. Regardless, Someone on the Roster Will Become The Pats' Third Starter Since Tom Brady Departed In 2019. After the first round, the Patriots picked up two receiving threats: Jaylyn Polk in the second round and Javon Baker in the fourth. Neither has burner speed, but the Patriots continue to tweak their receiver corps. The Pats Also Add Depth To An Offensive Line Always In Flux, Starting At Tackle Caeden Wallace From Penn State And Guard Layden Robinson From Texas A&M. I Love The Addition Of Quarterback Joe Milton From Tennessee As A Developmental Prospect. I Love The Pats Draft. The Team Hit A Lot Of Crucial Marks, And The Future Finally Started To Form.

New Orleans Saints, B-.

The Saints Didn't Have A Ton Of Draft Resources To Work With Just Two Picks On Days One And Two To Go Along with Four Fifth Round Picks, A Sixth, And A Seventh Rounder. The Saints Address The Offensive Line With The Best Right Tackle Internally. They draft Taliese Fuaga From Oregon State At 14. Fuaga Will Take One Of The Tackle Spot From Day One. In The Second, The Saints Get Top Five Corner Kool-Aid McKinstry From Alabama. The Saints Secondary Needs Youth, And Mckinstry Will Replace Marshon Lattimore One Day. The First Of The Saints' Fifth Rounds Went  On South Carolina's Quarterback Spencer Rattler To Back Up Derek Carr. The Saints Also Pick Up Big Play Threat Bub Means From Pittsburgh And All Purpose Linebacker Jaylan Ford From Texas. The Saints Picked Up A Workable Haul, And If Spencer Rattler Can Perform To The Level Some Expect Of Him, The Draft Grade Could Change In A Year.

New York Giants, B-.

I like the talent the Giants gained at the end of the draft, but I need to find out how they all fit with the team Already Constructed. Malik Nabers Looks Like The Best Receiver In This Draft With His  Long Speed  And Suddenness, But Is He The Best Fit For A Quarterback Like Daniel Jones? On day two, The Giants add to the growing secondary by getting one of the best safety internals, Tyler Nubin from Minnesota, and an exciting cornerback talent in Andru Phillips, a great athlete From Kentucky. He'll join Deonte Banks Internal and The Secondary. The Giants Pull A Solid Tight End, Theo Johnson, a Real Pass Catching Type From Penn State Who Replaces Darren Waller—and Tyrone Tracy Jr. from Purdue At Running Back. Overall, I Like The Pieces. I Think This Present Giants Staff Won't Bring The Best Out Of This Unit.

New York Jets, B.

The Jets Have To Maximize Whatever's Left Of Aaron Rodgers's Career They Can Muster, And That Starts With Protection. In the first round, The Jets selected Olu Fashanu From Penn State. The Jets Need To Fill That Third Receiver Spot Behind Mike Williams and Garrett Wilson. In The Second, The Jets Select YAC monster Malachi Corley From Western Kentucky. The Jets Also Get Running Back Braelon Allen From Wisconsin To Play Behind Breece Hall. In The Fifth Round, The Jets Select Florida State Quarterback Jordan Travis A Career Back Up. The Jets Exhaust 5 Of 7 Picks On Offense And Make A Clear Declaration Of  Their Interest To Improve The Offensive Side Of The Ball.

Philadelphia Eagles, A-. I Love The Eagles Draft. Howie Roseman Picked Up Two 1st Round Talents At A Crucial Position For The Team, Starting With Quinyon Mitchell In The First And Cooper Dejean In The Second Round, Both Of Whom Either Ranked 1 Or 2 On Most Draft Boards. The secondary school has some much-needed youth, depth, and flexibility. Philly Also Lost Talent On The Edge But Picked Up Jalyx Hunt From Houston Christian To Add Depth To That Group In Constant Change. The Eagles Signed Saquon during the season, But NFL Teams Can't Count On Just One Running Back, And The Eagles picked Former Five Star Running Back Clemson Will Shipley To Join Saquon. The Eagles Locked  Up Their Wide Receiving Group Long Term And Added Anais Smith From Texas A&M And The 6'7Johnny Wilson  Of Florida State, Who Can Serve As a Dominant Red Zone Threat. The Eagles also picked up two strong guard prospects and a linebacker, Jeremiah Trotter Jr.  The Eagles knew the assignment and hit all the right numbers as they looked to return to contention.

Pittsburgh Steelers, B.

The Steelers made some moves at quarterback this offseason. You may have heard about the two quarterbacks slated to battle for the Steelers' top spot this offseason. Regardless Of Who Takes The Start, The Steelers Got To Working On protecting Them on The Line, Drafting Three New Members To The Offensive Line Line Starting In The First Round With Washington Guard Troy Fautanu 20th Overall. The Steelers then Added Center Zach Frazier in the second round, who could start as the man gunning the ball to Russell Wilson. The Steelers Add A Pass Catcher With Michigan's Roman Wilson In The Third Round To Replenish The Losses Of Receiving Talent The Steelers Have Suffered In The Past Two Seasons. Later Internal The Third The Steelers Snatch linebacker Payton Wilson From NC State. In the Fourth, the Offensive line Welcomes Another Guard In, Mason McCormick. The Steelers Add Two Defensive Prospects in The Later Rounds.

San Francisco 49ers, A.

The Niners have faced a lot of broad receiver drama this offseason, and they only threw a cold fish into the hot oil by drafting Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall in the first round. He'll add to the star-studded Roster or replace one or two star-slated for opening day. The Niners Charged Up Their Defensive Secondary With Florida State Corner Renardo Green, Who Joins Chardavius Ward On The Outside. Despite Trent Willam's Otherworldly Worldly Presence, The Niners Finished With One Of The Worse Pass Protection Units; Kyle Shana Picked Up Some Re-Enforcement With Kansas Lineman Dominick Puni, Who Can Develop At Either Guard Or tackle. Safety Malik Mustapha will also join this vaunted secondary school. They are running Back Isaac Guerendo And Wide Receiver Jacob Cowing From Arizona. Cowing has given a lot of "Tank Dell" vibes throughout the draft process. They grabbed Jarrett Kingston In The Sixth Round and Added To the Crop. The Niners could Have Spent More Time and Effort Into The Offensive Line Depending On Trent Williams To Sustain This Level Of Play Into Eternity Feels Hazardous. Overall, I Like The Haul The Niners Came Away With In The End.

Seattle Seahawks, A.

Seattle Selecting Byron Murphy In The First Round Felt A Bit "Redundant" After The Seahawks Traded A Signed Leonard Williams, Who's Gotten Older But Fills The Void. However, Murphy is one of the best talents in the draft, and he is the number one player in his position and a position of need in the run/pass stuffing position. Seattle's offensive line is suffering from injuries, and Seattle brings in Number One Guard Prospect Christian Haynes from UConn, an interior blocker who can kick outside thanks to his quickness. On Day, The Seahawks Fleshed Out Their Depth With Linebacker Tyrice Knight From UTEP, Who Adds Depth  To A Linebacker Group In Flux. Tight End AJ Barner From Michigan Adds A Complimentary Force To A Solid Toght End Group. I Like D.J. James A Slot Corner Type To Seattle's Young Butler Accomplished Secondary.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers,  B. The Bucs Locked Up Their Quarterback Now To Protect Him Opposite Tristan Wirfs By Adding Duke Tackle Graham Barton  In The First. Barton Fits In Multiple Spots Along The Offensive Line. In the second round, Chris Braswell steps into The Spot, which Shaq Barrett vacated, but the Bucs haven't shown too much success in drafting Edge Rushers in the recent season. The Bucs also locked up safety Antoine Winfield Jr., now joining Winfield in the backfield Georgia safety Tyreek Smith. The Bucs Wide Receiver Core Stayed Mostly Stable. Still, The Bucs Added Washington's Jalen McMillan, A Solid All-Purpose Receiver Who Can Win a Contested Pass Over The Top And Internal traffic. Running Back Has Proven Problematic For The Bucs, But They Neglect To Address The Position Until Late In The Draft In The Fourth Round With Oregon Back Bucky Irving. Irving plays behind Rachaad White, Who Finally Put Together A Worthwhile Season. Irving's A Dual Back: Irving leads all running backs in college in catches but can also run internally between the tackles. The Bucs add more offensive line depth and a tight end to round off a solid draft that addresses all the team's needs.

Tennessee Titans, A.

The Titans Could Have Leaned In Any Direction With Their Rounder But Decided To Round Out The Offensive Line With Alabama Tackle JC Latham To Bookend The Left Side Of The Titans' Line. The Titans Have A Stout Interior Defensive Line And Pick Up Stout Texas Defensive Tackle T'Vondre Sweat To Fit Alongside Jeffrey Simmons. The Titans Continue To Reform The Defensive Side Of The Ball With Linebacker Cedric Gray From North Carolina. The Defense Also Adds Slot Corner Jarvis Brownlee Jr. From Louisville To Add To Secondary. The Titans Achieved Most Of Their Work in The Receiving Game During Free Agency And Didnt Draft A Receiver Til Late In The Sixth round With Jha'Quan Jackson, Who Projects More As A Return Man. The Titans Pick Up Big safety James Williams. The Titans pulled In A Solid Draft For Pieces For Brian Callahan To Work With as Tennessee Enters A New Era.

Washington Commanders, A-.

The Commanders Needed A Quarterback, And Barring The Prospects Age, They Got The Best One Available In Jaden Daniels. He's Poise, Powerful Enough Arm, and Athlectic To Compliment. Can The Commanders Compliment This New Quarterback With Protection And Skill Players? Internal The Second Round The Commanders Select A Defensive Tackle, Jer'Zhan Newton From Illinois Ranked Number Two Interior Defender. Despite the Redundancy, The Commanders Need An Insurance Policy For The Other Two Massive Block Eaters Up Front, Daron Payne And Jonathan Allen, Who Have to Watch Their Production Fall Off After Signing Massive Deals. Corner Mike Sainristil Adds To A Young Group Of Competitive Corners. Ben Sinnott From Kansas State Becomes The Team Top Tight End For Kliff Kingsberry's Offense. Along The Offensive Line, The Commanders Add Guard Brandon Coleman From TCU, who Posses The Frame To Bookend At Left Tackle. The Commanders Made Six Picks In The First Three Rounds And ended day Two With Wide Receiver Luke McCaffrey To Serve As The Team's Third Option At Receiver behind Jahan Dotson and Terry Mclaurin. The Commanders Plug Internal Three Defensive Prospects At The End Of Their Draft Linebacker Jordan Magee From Temple, Safety Dominique Hampton From Washington, And Edge Rusher Javonte's Jean-Baptiste Of Notre Dame, A Slower But Rangier taller Edge Rusher. One of my favorite drafts is one I'm excited to see what Dan Quinn can deliver with this staff.
