NFL Mock Draft

The MindfullMadness Mock Draft, The Only Mock Draft You Need To Read Ahead Of The NFL Draft. I know many other experts would claim the same rights and crown, and most Plaudits punch out at least one mock draft every week as if they were locked in a Soviet camp where mocks determine their rations for the week. Mocks Drive Draft Analyst Batty And It’s A Fun Practice To mPay Psuedo-GM Over A Few Weeks—the NFL Demands Content We Provide. No, I Don't Have The Insider Tips On Team Dinners And Team Notes. I Don't possess the Encyclopedia Knowledge Of Offensive Schemes Or Defensive Jargon To Dictate Where Each Player Fits For Which Team. All My Picks Come As A Product Of A Secretive Mode Of Prognosticative Processing. I Start With What Teams Need, who the Best Available, How The Board plays out, And a Little Bit Of My Preferences For Teams Because, In The End, We All Come Up Wrong, And That is how The Experts Make Their Choices(I Beleive). With That Said, Coffee In Hand, PFF Big Board On The Screen—I don't Project Trades Because That's Another Esoteric Level Of Football Unreached By A Lowly Squire Such As I.

1)Chicago Bears—Caleb Williams, Quarterback, USC. As Is The Case When A Quarterback Hungry Has The First Pick, The Public Usually Knows The Choice Well Before The Draft. The Bear Cleared Their Deck By Trading Justin Field To The Steelers, making Theo Way Clear For The Franchise's Latest Coming Messiah, Caleb Williams. The Bear Will Reset At Quarterback For the Third Time In Seven Years, And With The Uber-Talented Williams, They Hope He's The Last.

2)Washington Commander—Jayden Daniels, Quarterback LSU.

The Commanders Need to Start The Same Quarterback Internal Back Season since Kirk Cousins Left The Franchise In 2018. Since 2000, only Kirk and Jason Campbell have accomplished the feat of starting back-to-back seasons for the Commanders. Since 2000, only Kirk and Jason Campbell have accomplished the feat of starting back seasons for the Lay, The Name Of 25 Other Men. Jayden Daniels Will Add Another Ledger To List. The Heisman Winner Enters The Draft Elevated By His Statistical Evidence, His Quick Processing, and Dual Threat Prowess. In many ways, Daniels Compares Favorable To What The Commanders Envisisioned In RG3 So Many Years Ago.

3)New England Patriots--Drake Maye, Quarterback North Carolina.

North Carolina Continues To Fool Us(Fans And Evaluators) As A Potential Quarterback Haven. Mitchell Trubisky(Former

NUMBER Two Pick) To Sam Howell( A Former

FIFTH round Pick Everyone Thought Could Prove A Full-Time Starter) The Tar Heels Produced Guys Who Look As Close To Pro-Ready But Ultimately Flame Out. Enter Their Lastest Rendition, Maye Has Exhibit All The Characteristics Of His Former Archetypes-Pro Style, Drop Back Quarterback FroM, a Progression Offense--But He's Got A Live Arm. The Patriots Could Trade Out Of This pick. Still, If They Remain, I Believe In Maye Just A Little More Than Harrison Jr. For The Patriots Passing up On a Potentially changing quarterback in The Top Five Stands At least Two Notches Above The Failing of Said Quarterback To Become The Franchise Deliverer.

4)Arizona Cardinals--Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State University.

Of the Cardinals' Top Four Targeted Receivers, only one Pass catcher Stands over 6 feet in height. Rookie Micheal Wilson Played well in his first year, but health concerns lasted as Wilson missed four games last season. I dont Know Why the Cardinals Switched To This Pigmie Based System With A Slew Of 5'10 Of Fewer ReceiversWhen Kyler Murray Had His Best Season With Two Stalkish 6'2 Or Better Matchup Nightmares On The Outside. The Polished Harrison Jr Will Kyler The True Number One Lacked In Arizona.

5)Los Angeles Chargers—Joe Alt, Offensive Tackles, Notre Dame. Naturally, Fifth Overall Feels Like The Right Spot For The Second Wide Receiver To Come Off The Board. Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze look fabulous when taking in passes from Justin Herbert. However, The Chargers have Heavily Invested In This expensive Line. Rashawn Slater continues to perform admirably. Zion Johnson(Former first-round pick) and Jamaree Salyer(Former starter Zay left tackle) need to show more Performance grades for the Chargers while all are under rookie contracts. Loa Angeles Needs To Fortify What They Built In The Trenches. Joe Alt FrommNotre Dame, I Don't Always Love The big Hulkish Offensive Lineman, But Altman fits A Need for The Chargers with a deep Wide Receiver Class.

New York Giants—Brock Bowers, Tight End, Georgia. The Giants Land an Internal Prime Spot To Trade Down Or Trade Up For A PlayMaker They Prefer Over Another If They Believe The Chargers Will Make The Move On An Outside Threat Rather Than an offensive Tackle. The Giants Need A Top Target; the End Of Darren Waller's Time With The Team Appears Closing Bowers possesses the Best Pass Catching Skills Internal Draft Of Any Position. He's a Fit From The Slot To Outside. Bowers Doesn't Threaten Deep, Which Suits Daniel Jones. The Giants Reportedly Want To Move Up For A Quarterback.

7) Tennessee Titans—Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Tackle, Penn State. The Titans Still Have Questions About Will Levi's At Quarterback, But They Don't Have To Answer Those Questions Here At Seven. They know How Best To Protect Him Because Heights took a Lot of Punishments, And The O-Line Finished Last In Pass Blocking. Olumuyima Fashanu Has Battled With Joe Alt And Others As The Best Tackle In The Draft. An Elite Athlete Standing 6'6 319 Lbs With Some Of The Best Pass Blocking Grades In College, The Penn State Product Will Immediately Locked Down The Left Side Of Levi's Production.

8)Atlanta Falcons—Jared Verse, Edge Rusher, Florida State University. The Falcons Finished Dead Last In Pass Rush Win Rate last Season and 20th In Sacks With 42 While Coming Away With 8 Interceptions Near The Bottom Of the League. The Falcons' defense lacked play-making, and for most of the season, the defense came along for the ride as the offense attempted to take the team to the playoffs. Verse Will Immediately Become The Best Player On The Falcons Defensive Line and Maybe The Next Best On The Entire Defense. Verse Can Have The Impact For The Falcons That Will Anderson Jr. Had For The Texans.

9) Chicago Bears—Cooper Dejean, Defensive Back, Iowa. I See A Lot of Receivers Mocked To Chicago At 9th As Chicago Welcomes Theo Caleb Williams Era. Keenan Allen will enter Free Agency after this season, and his injury history suggests that Theo Bear has a dependent force on the outside next to DJ Moore for the next three years. Chicago Found Great Sucess In Coverage Last As Jaylon Johnson Emerged As The League's Top Corner. Bears Head Coach Matt Eberflus has a defensive background, and Heights wants to build a proud top ten unit, enter a defensive back, and Cooper Dejean. A Pure Zone Corner, Dejean Has Great Play Recognition, Great Athleticism, And Versatility To Play Safety, Corner, And Sub-Linebacker.

10)New York Jets—Troy Fautanu, Offensive Tackle, Washington. The Jets will start Aaron Rodgers As a quarterback, going into the Hall Of Famers Age 41 season coming off of one of the most devastating injuries and an Achilles Tear. Rodgers will have significant protection if the Jets hope to get the best out of Rodgers. The Jets Failed to build a formidable offensive line in the prior draft with Mekhi Becton and Alijah Vera-Tucker, and they played 13 different combinations of offensive linemen who allowed 259 total pressures last season. Troy Fautanu Anchored The Blind Side For Micheal Penix At Washington. Fautanu's Not The Hulkish Cinderblock Tackles We've Become Accustomed To Watching Take Over The Left Tackle Spot. However, Fautanu, 6'4, 317 Lbs (A Bit Undersized) Makes Up For This With Elite Athleticism(5.01 Forty Time, 32.5 Vertical Jump, 9.5 Broad Jump). He Can Move Quickly Into the Next Level And Take On Stunts. Offensive Linemen Like Fautanu usually possess the skill set and size to kick inside the guard. If the Jets Want A Pure Tackle, Alabama's JC Latham or Oregon State's Taliese Fauga Fit Best. Fautanu Has A Game Similar To Penei Sewell Of The Lions.

11)Minnesota Vikings—JJ McCarthy, Quarterback, Michigan. The Vikings Have quarterbacks on Their Minds: Kevin O'Connell, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, And Theo. The Rest Of The Staff, Armed With Two Picks, Will Look To Move Up A Grab Drake Maye. However, if the board plays out, as I predict (We could only hope), another talented young quarterback should fall into the Vikings' hands in JJ McCarthy. McCarthy has arm strength, is touched with some finesse, and has creativity. McCarthy Possesses The Talent to Finish His Career As The Best Quarterback In This Draft Class.

12)Denver Broncos—Rome Odunze, Wide Receiver, Washington. Sean Payton And the Broncos Desperately Need A Quarterback With The Depth Chart Starting With Newly acquired Zach Wilson Or Jarret Stidham. However, No One Can Feel Confident Reaching For Either Bo Nix Or Micheal Penix Up At The 12th Pick. The Broncos Have Had Trouble Scouting And Developing Receivers and Could Find Holding On To Cortland Sutton Beyond Next Season. Rome Odunze Fits The Role Of A True Number One Receiver. Odunze Has The Frame, The Route, and The Ball Skills To Make Any Quarterback Look Competent, At Least In Some Moments.

13)Las Vegas Raiders, Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State.

The Raiders Face The Same Problem

As their AFC West rival Broncos, The Temptation To Reach For One Of Bo Nix Or Micheal Penix Jr., no matter how intense the pull is, the Raiders must resist and make the best choice for the team. The Raiders' Top Ten Pass Blocking Offensive Line Lost A Member When Right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor, One Of the team's Strongest Run Blockers, Departed To The Giants. Taliese Fuaga, Out Of Oregon State A PowerFul, A Well-Balanced Blocker Who Can Slide Into The Right Tackle Role Where Heights Dominated In College. Fuaga Could Kick In At Left Tackle, Given The Sketchy Injury History Of Raiders's Left Tackle Kolton Miller.

14)New Orleans Saints—JC Latham, Offensive Tackle, Alabama. I Don't Know Why I See Quarterbacks Mocked To The Saints At 14th. Derek Carr Played Well In His Time In Pete Carmichael's System, but That Doesn't Mean Carr Will Play Better With Another Season Under His Belt. A Quarterback Here Equates To a Far Reach. Before Terron Armstead, The Saints Once boosted One Of Theo's Best Offensive Lines In The Game; Now, The Line lies in Shambles. Trevor Penning, The Top Pick A Year Ago, Got benched Last Season, And The Saints Need A Left Tackle. Alabama's JC Latham Fits Theo Profile Of The Standard Left Tackle A Full 6'6 340 Former Consensus 5-star, No. 3 overall, No. 1 at position Latham Size and Mobility Makes Him A Tempting Option Early For Any Team Hungry For Offensive Lineman.

15) Indianapolis Colts—Quinyon Mitchell, Cornerback, Toledo. The Colts' Stouts Forces Up Front In The Trenches and In The Linebackers Core Secondary have room To Improve; the Colts Finished 11th Worse in Coverage Grade And Allowed A 106.3 Passer Rating Over the last Three Games Of The Regular Season. I'm Quinyon Mitchell Agnostic, But He's The Highest Corner In This Draft. Mitchell's Stats, 17 Forced Incompletions, And A Passer Rating Of 51.1 Allowed And His Tape Show, The Colts, Get A Strong Corner. He's an outside corner player who plays all across the defense.

16)Seattle Seahawks—Dallas Turner, Edge Rusher, Alabama. The Seahawks Underachieved Last Season, Missing Out On The Playoffs, And General Taking A Step Backwards As A Roster. Seattle's Pass Protection Crumble, Surrendering Over 200 Pressure As Second Year Tackles Charles Cross And Abe Lucas Regressed. The Seahawks also Have A Defense Supported By Two Of The Best Young Corners In The Game, Tariq Wholen And Devon Witherspoon. Now They Need A Young Pass Rusher To Add To The Group. Seattle finished 16th in pass rush win rate and 13th in pressure rate, and Dallas Turner could propel Seattle into the top ten. Turner can apply pressure as a rusher and drop into coverage to fill a more conventional linebacker role. Like Micah Parsons, he'll have to commit to one style sooner rather than later.

17)Jacksonville Jaguars—Graham Barton, Guard/Tackle, Duke.

Trevor Lawrence Has Delivered A Tumultuous Three Seasons Following One Of The Greatest Quarterback Hype Trails In NFL History. The Jaguars Still Need to Fortify The Team Around Completely. The Jaguars' Offensive Line Struggled To Block Anything Last Season, 29th In Pass Block Win Rate and 27th In RunnBlock Win Rate. The O Line Needs Some Added Thump. Duke's Graham Barton is listed As A Tackle At 6'5 314 And Played Left Tackle All Three Years At Duke, But Some project him To Slide Inside Thanks To His strength and Technician As A Blocker But Slower Feet And Average Athleticism. No matter; He'll Step In Immediately As The Best Tackle On His Team.

18)Cincinnati Bengals—Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Tackle, Penn State. The Bengals Have Conjured Up Nightmares Trying To Correct This Offensive Line Protecting Joe Burrow. The Team Has Tried Drafting The Best Tackle(Jonah Williams, 2019) And Signing The Best Tackle In Football(Orlando Brown Jr.,2022) ALONG with Signing Strong Guards And Centers (Alex Cappa And Ted Karras) And Now Leave One Expensive Mess. Fashanu Brings An Athletic Swing Tackle Who Will Ease Into The Spot Vacated By The Departure Of Jonah Williams. PFF Graded The Penn State Product A 88.4 Pass Blocking Grade.

19)Los Angeles Rams—Byron Murphy, Defensive Tackle, Texas. Aaron Darnold's Retirement Leaves a Massive Hole In The Rams Defense. Legal Trouble Aside From Byron Murphy, A Hulk Of A Human Being and a Pile Driver, Pff Ranked Him The Second Best Interior, Generating 6 Sacks From A & B Gap Attacking. Legal Trouble Didn't Prevent A Talent Like Jalen Carter Out Of The First Round, and Murphy Has Talent Of That Scope.

20)Pittsburgh Steelers—Adonai Mitchell, Wide Receiver, Texas. Across The Better Past  Two Seasons, The Steelers Have Dismantled Their Once Promising Young Wide Receiver Core. Devoted To Russell Wilson As The Steelers Starter, He'll Need A Top Target. Brian Thomas Jr and Troy Franklyn Would Also Fit, But I'll Mock Mitchell Tentatively. The Steelers Could Also Look To Fortify The Trenches With a Need At Tackle.

21)Miami Dolphins—Amarius Mims, Tackle, Georgia. The Dolphins Unit Ranked In The Top Ten Last Season But Struggled With Injuries; with the Line Continuing To Climb In Age, Regardless Of Seasons, Terron Armstead Plays, the Dolphins Need To Get Younger And Stronger, Protecting Tua Or A Possible Replacement. Mims Brings Thanos-like Power With His Tackle. Standing 6-foot-7 And 340-pound, He Doesn't Move Grace, But He's Quick Enough To Handle Stunts and Long Enough To Recover When Beaten Off The Edge.

22)Philadelphia Eagles—Nate Wiggins, Cornerback, Clemson. The NFL Has a Complex Identity: A Strength One Day Can Become A Weakness Another. During Their Supervisor Bowl Run, The Eagles Boosted One Of The Seconds In The Game, But Last Season, The Defensive Backs Dup Darius Slay And James Bradberry Fell Off, and Both Reach Well Into Their 30s. The Eagles As A Unit Dropped From Top Five To Bottom Five From 2022 To 2023. Wiggins Will Add Youth As One Of The Youngest Propects In One Of The Oldest Drafts, And He's A Pure Outside Coverage Guy. Of the Eagles, I prefer a more complete corner (One with a better reputation as a tackler) and any of the Alabama duos of Terrion Arnold or Kool-Aid Mckinstry.

23) Minnesota Vikings—Terrion Arnold, Cornerback, Alabama. The Vikings Have A Young Secondary Anchored By Aged Safety In Harrison Smith, But Overall, The Secondary Lacks A True Difference Maker. Arnold Possesses Great Ball Skills And Elite Athleticism To Play In Any Style Of Corner(Man Or Zone) And Blitzes For Brian Flores. The Vikings Allowed The 6th Worst (95.2) Passer Rating All season And The Second Worst (116.5) Across The Final Three Games To Close The Season.

24)Dallas Cowboys—Brian Thomas Jr., Wide Receiver, LSU. The Cowboys Hemorrhage A lot Of Talent From Their Formidable Offensive Line, Including Long Time Left Tackle Tyron Smith And Center Tyler Biadasz. Dallas Also Let Go Of Disappointing Second Receiver Micheal Gallop And Now Face An Uncomfortable Amount Of Unproven Talent At A Premier Position. Ceded Lamb Finished A season In Which Heights Tore The Crown From The Head Of Justin Jefferson And Now Marches Into 2024 As The Best Receiver In The NFL, But Prescott Will Need Another Option Behind Lamb. Enter Brian Thomas Jr, The Angular, Tall Speedster From LSU. The Cowboys Have a lot invested in Dak This Season, And Thomas Jr. Looks Like Your Prototypical 1B Receiver.

25)Green Bay Packers—Kool-Aid Mckinstry, Cornerback, Alabama. The Packers Have Seen A lot Of Changes In Recent Years From Receiver To Quarterback To Offensive Line, and Now The Defense Employs A New Visionary, Jeff Hafley. The Packers' Pass Defense Allowed the 25th, 25th-highest passer Rating, And The 15th-worst Coverage Grade. The Corner Position Has Disappointed With Eric Stokes Failing To Come Along And Jaire Alexander Coming At Odds With The Team. Hafley May Not Move Away From The Zone-Based Scheme Of Joe Barry, But The Pack Will Likely Look To Add New Corners and Enter Kool-Aid Mckinstry with A Physical Ball With Elite Athleticism. He'll need time to adjust to a zone-based scheme in the NFL, but his natural gifts will make him Tatalizing.

26)Tampa Bay Buccaneers—Laiatu Latu, Edge Rusher, UCLA. The Bucs Let Go Of Long-Time Edge Rusher Shaq Barrett, And They'll Need A New Presence On The Edge If They Hope To Improve On Their 10th Worse Pressure Rate In The League. Latu possesses a lot Of The Bend And Athleticism That Made Barrett Such A Force for The Bucs All Those Years.

27)Arizona Cardinals—TJ Tampa, Cornerback, Iowa State. The Cardinals had a tough time achieving anything last season. The defense ranking was last defensively by PFF and ESPN's FPI—the Secondary Particularly, Almost Entirely Nameless Outside Of Budda Baker. Enter TJ Tampa. a Long Rangy, Hard Hitting Corner With Ball Skills To Give Arizona Something Boost About For Perhaps Years To Come. Anyone of the remaining corners could fit the cards here, including Mike Sainristil of Michigan and Georgia's Kamari Lassiter.

28)Buffalo Bills—Keon Coleman, Wide Receiver, Florida State University. The Bills Lost Number Receiver Stefon Diggs and Number Two Gabe Davis. No One Receiver Can Replace Diggs's Impact, But Any Has The Skill Set Needed To Perform In The Mold Of A Number One Receiver, Akron Coleman, The Big Body Receiver From Florida State. As a Contested Catch Specialist, Keon should fit nicely into how Josh Allen likes to play ball and jam targets into tight windows.

29)Detroit Lions—Cooper Bebe, Guard, Kansas State. The Lions Offensive Line May Rank As The Best In Football By The End Of 2024 Season After Finishing Second This Season According To PFF. Young, Athletic, Compose The Lions Have Built Through The Draft And Now Return For Another Bite Of The NFC's Top Spot. However, Guard Jonah Jackson Departed For LA, and One Of The Weaker Links Comes to Cooper Bebe, A Versatile Offensive Lineman who played Both Tackle Spots But Can Kick In at Guard, Where Heights Registered A 90.4 Pass Block Grade Last Season.

30)Baltimore Ravens—Troy Franklyn, Wide Receiver, Oregon. The Ravens have spent a lot of draft capital building their receiving room and the passing attack, which evolved under the guidance of OC Todd Monken. Now Monken needs to take his passing attack to another level with a more extended Lankier target. Lamar Jackson will welcome Franklyn, who will give a larger canvas for which to paint passes over.

31)San Fransisco 49ers—Jordan Morgan, Offensive Tackle, Arizona. Despite having one Of The Best Tackles In Football, The Niners Produced One Of The Worst Blocking Units In Football But somehow Made The Move  To the Super Bowl. This season, John Lynch will move to improve the protection surrounding quarterback Brock Purdy as the team looks to return to the Super Bowl. At 6'6, 320 Lbs, Jorgan Morgan has the size—Though lighter— To handle the right and Move and pull blocks in Shanahan's zone-blocking scheme.

32)Kansas City Chiefs—Xavier Worthy, Wide Receiver, Texas. The Chiefs Won Their Third Super Bowl Of The Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid Era Second In A Row, And Who Can Complain? However, The Chiefs Have Morphed Into A Control, Less Exciting Model Of The Original Trail Andy Reid Opened His Tenure With Kansas City With Explosive Offense. Xavier Worthy broke the Forty Yard dash record and expertly displayed that speed In Texas. Worthy Can Also Take Short Passes From Behind The Line Of Scrimmage Distance, Instantly Transforming The Kansas City Offense That Lack A Number One Threat Into The Fallen Behemoth.
